Reading
- Raz-Kids - Read books on your child's own reading level. They can also record and listen to themselves reading, which is great for improving fluency.
- Storyline Online - Listen to some great stories read by famous celebrities.
- Reading Song - We sing this song every day, and your child should be very familiar with it. It is a great tool for helping your child remember reading strategies to help them become a better reader.
- We Give Books - This site gives has many wonderful books to read online. It is such a fabulous resource to use at home.
- Mo Willems - Author of many beloved characters like Elephant & Piggie and Pigeon. This great website has many activities and information about Mo Willems.
- Seussville - Dr. Seuss' website. It is full of fun games and activities to go along with his wonderful books.
- Book Wizard - Want to know what level your child's favorite book is? This Scholastic Book Wizard will tell you. Be sure to choose "guided reading" level, as that is the same system we use at school.
Math
- Alien Addition - Be quick to figure out the answers to these falling alien spaceships!
- Math Fact Shootout - Test your basketball skills while practicing your math facts.
- Math Fact Practice - Practice your speed with addition and subtraction facts.
- Time - This site has many games to practice telling time. Be sure to practice hours and half-hours.
- Robot Place Value - Have fun while practicing place value for ones, tens, and hundreds with this Robot!
- Base Ten Fun - Count the tens and ones, then enter the amount on the calculator.
